Pilates

The process depends on the clients body. We start by going real slow, learning how to breathe, engaging/stretching muscles correctly, learning how opposition is the mission to create great posture and a powerful core. Once this mind-body, breath-core connection is there — then only then — we grow and evolve creating stability, strength, and endurance.
My mission is always to get the client out of pain and make them strong. Using the springs helps to make engagement safe as it dynamically changes the structure and mobility of the body.

Art

Healing bodies and my own have been so fulfilling that my art career took a pause. I am an artist --- always & forever --- through & through. Recently learned woodworking and welding to build my own classical pilates equipment! My creation now is taking anatomy into functional movement in each body I work with.
I have been dreaming of my next series of art spiraling around the theme of the sacred divine dance, empowerment of the organic spirit and soul. But my next goal is to host weekend art workshops.
Teaching processes of creating original batik paintings, hand-beaded earrings, ceramics, printmaking, and watercolor.
I have a BA in Fine Art, AS in Graphic Design, created a few series of artwork, a human, and have taught gifted & talented art for years!
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
