CHRONIC PAIN DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PERMANENT

When you've tried everything and nothing lasts, we'll uncover what's really driving your pain.

Helping New Orleanians Move Pain-Free Since 2020

You already know something needs to change. This is where that change begins.

You've tried to push through.

You've seen practitioners, done the stretches, taken the breaks.

And the pain keeps coming back.

That's because most approaches treat the symptom.

This work goes to the root.

Over 9 years and hundreds of clients, Heidi has developed a highly effective method for resolving chronic pain and restoring pain-free movement, not just managing it.

How It Works

Each session combines advanced bodywork with neuromuscular analysis, informed by functional anatomy and neuroscience. Heidi assesses the dysfunctional muscles and nervous system patterns driving your pain, then works to release, reset, and retrain them.

Sessions take place on a floor mat. Wear comfortable, loose clothing.

Techniques integrated in this work:

  • Trigger Point Therapy

  • Myofascial Release

  • Neuromuscular Therapy

  • Deep Tissue Compression

  • Thai Bodywork

  • Muscle Energy Technique

  • PNF Stretching + Vibration

  • Orthopedic Massage

  • Functional Movement Coaching

  • Pain Neuroscience Education

Conditions commonly treated are:

  • Shoulder pain & rotator cuff issues

  • Sciatica & low back pain

  • Sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction

  • Neck pain, TMJ, and headaches

  • Hip, groin, and knee pain

  • Plantar fasciitis, Tennis elbow

  • Tingling, numbness, nerve pain

  • Chronic and unresolved pain

“In order to change, people need to become aware of their sensations and the way that their bodies interact with the world around them. Physical self-awareness is the first step in releasing the tyranny of the past.”

“For the first time in over half my life, I felt relief.”
She gets to the source of the problem.
“After my back surgery in 2002, I suffered with permanent nerve damage, and I would get massages occasionally to find temporary relief. As a registered nurse, I cared for many patients with chronic pain just like mine. After my first session with Heidi, I felt relief from the pain I have been dealing with for over half my life. She is knowledgeable about the body and gets to the source of the problem. Although the session required breathing and focus on the problem areas, the long-term result was better than I could imagine. If you are experiencing pain in your body, I recommend Heidi to help guide you on your journey to recovery.”

Pain-Free Pilates

Most people come to Pilates because something hurts. Or because they've been told to strengthen their core. Or because they're afraid of making things worse if they push too hard.

This is Pilates designed for exactly that person.

Every session starts where your body actually is. We begin with breath, with awareness, with learning how your body engages and moves safely. The springs support you, making movement feel possible again without fear or bracing.

Once that mind-body connection is established, we build. Stability, strength, and endurance -- in a body that finally feels safe enough to hold them.

"Run, don't walk."
Harder. More challenged. Technique finally fine-tuned.
"Heidi is seriously the best Pilates instructor I've had. I worked harder and felt much more challenged when I started doing classes with her. She provides useful cues and visualizations throughout to make the most out of every exercise. Her tactile cueing has really helped me fine-tune my technique with exercises I didn't realize I wasn't doing well for years. Her energy is so upbeat and motivating that class is fun, even though it's tough! Run, don't walk to Pilates with Heidi!"

Art has always been part of who I am -- not something I do, but something I am.

For years, healing bodies took center stage and my art career took a pause. But the creativity never stopped. It just found new forms. I recently learned woodworking and welding to build my own classical Pilates equipment, and I find myself taking anatomy into every body I work with, seeing each person as a living, moving work of art.

My next chapter is calling me back to the canvas and the classroom. I am developing a new series of work spiraling around the sacred divine dance, the empowerment of the organic spirit and soul. And I am dreaming of hosting weekend art workshops teaching batik painting, hand-beaded earrings, ceramics, printmaking, and watercolor.

BA in Fine Art. AS in Graphic Design. Years teaching gifted and talented students. A lifetime of making things by hand.

Art and healing have always been the same thing for me. Both ask you to be present, to trust the process, and to believe in what is not yet visible.

“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
